The kids & I went for a little nature walk the other day & I captured some of the best photos of them yet. I have this thing about having them be all dolled up when I know I am going to take their pictures. Hair all done, cute clothes, the works. ( I might just get that "perfect picture" & they need to look good for it! HA HA)..............Well not today, I put their shoes on & we were out the door. And yet, I snapped a ton of good, no, great photos of them! I am sooooo happy!
Yes Brena's hair was a mess, but that is how it is, messy & VERY curly. Yes Briar had a little bit of lunch on his shirt and marker all over his hands, but that is who he is. A true boy with mud on his face & worms in his pockets. And I must say I wouldn't have it any other way! Some times we just have to let things go & have faith that it will all work out in the end.

A while back, I wrote a post on the whole name thing. What I was going to call this little business of photography I've got going. I thought I had come up with the perfect name "Picture Perfect". Not to original, but it hit the note at the time. But after talking to a few different people & finding out that legally that name is already taken in Michigan, I am going to call it........... (lets here those drum rolls, LOL)..........................

Oops, I accidentally posted after the pictures!

I love to let my kids be kids. Brena & Briar both LOVE to be outside. Briar is constantly getting the hose out. Washing this or that. And Brena LOVES the water as well. If there is a mud puddle in the driveway due to a rain, there is a 99 % chance you will see my son in it! And as long as he doesn't have his Sunday best on, then who really cares? Wouldn't you love to play in the mud again? I would, to feel that free & alive. Not caring that you are going to get dirty or ruin your clothes? What a great feeling.

So I was thinking last night, that it had been a little while since my last blog. When I looked at my last entry I realized it has been 2 weeks........YIKES!!! When I started this blog I thought to myself, I will blog all the time. Ha Ha. Life gets a hold of you & well, you just get busy. No other excuses. I did loose Internet for about 4 days (which drives me insane) NO literally INSANE. I feel so disconnected from the world. Checking my emails, my bank balance, paying bills online, reading blogs.............I do so much online, it is sort of an addiction, well it is an addiction. (sad but true). I tried to check some of my stuff on my in laws computer, but it takes FOREVER. I feel really sorry for all of you dial up users! It sucks, really, really sucks!


Other than that not a whole lot going on. Briar started school this week. And I am excited because it is finally starting to cool down. I love the cooler weather. Maybe this weekend I will get out my Halloween decorations. :) I did get to go scrapbooking this past weekend, for the whole weekend. What a treat, a nice little relaxer before ken leaves for his bear trip!

Here are a couple of pictures to see. I hardly edited these at all. I thought they turned out great. I am still not sure why the color is a little dull. In photo shop it looks really good & colorful, but on here it looks like it lost a lot of color & I am not sure why. Someone thought it might be my monitor but if it is my monitor why would it change?
